Sorry, I should have mentioned this in my last post Dundee, but if they did have a pup it would never end up a rescue..... it would come to me
I lost 2 dogs this year who were rescues, any animal that comes into my life is for life and I am lucky that I can do that.... But I totally understand what everyone has said and I will be talking to them both, Because I had Sven as a pup when my son was born 23 years ago, and other family members have had pups with their babies and had no problems that isn't to say they won't.
But as I have said I have taken on board what you have all said and it has made me think about it differently
