i would recommed not feeding him before you travel incase he feels travel sick because it will only make him worse and you will have more to clean up.
il might be a idea to try to keep him awake for as long as possible before travelling because it may make him more sleepy for the trip. it aslo might be a good idea to cover up the carrier with a banket because cats feel more secure in warm dark spaces. you could also put on some quiet music to give him some thing to concentrate on rather than the fact that hes scared. it will also comfort him if you up a blanket or clothing that he uses in with him aswell as some of him toys because it will be a familier scent for him and when you get him to the house you should put him in a quiet room for about an hour to let him adjust and then maybe let him wonder for awhile without paying him any attention to prevent him from becoming over whelmed. i hope this helps you and your pretty little boy, best of luck and merry christmas, Amy
