If registering bodies have a say then they would be more likely to understand the needs of the breeds rather than have some outside body with zero understanding like DEFRA or worse your local council.

I don't agree with anyone placing restrictions on the number of animals being kept though one person keeping 15 cats or dogs could do so far better than another keeping 2.

The suggestion of limits wasn't mine, it was Naomi's I was just responding to that discussion.
