Glad you went to the vets prior to asking our opinions - I personally would use - one I swear by - Naturediet Lamb - a little more expensive - but a first rate food - I do not know anything about the food you are currently using its it wet or dry. The chicken should be fine.
Bland food - chappie - is easy to digest if thats what you mean - though neither of mine will eat it - BUT - is it suprising the amount of vets that will recommentd if for these sort of problems - seems it's fish based and easy to digest.

ps - you can buy the nature diet bulk/wholesale and save a fair amount of money - worth is if you have big dogs like ! - but not so if your dog is a smaller breed.
