I have 2 huskys and run a husky discussion forum .... I would definatly advise getting yourself a hareness and would also get another collar. Huskys should never been off the leash as you'll probably already be aware but the problem is they tend to be clever buggers at getting off them too .... Make sure when you buy your collar that it is tight enough. You should be able to slip 3-4 fingers behind but it should not be able to come off. Link leads are also very worthwhile as you can link the leash to both harness and colar, this way if one fails then you still have hold of your husky
