Re: FAO Breeders...Weaning Ideas??

I had a litter this summer who were not having any of the whole weaning process!! I had lots of input and ideas from many peeps.. so here is a list you can possibly try
*Sardines in sauce* this worked the best with my lot..
*very fine raw chicken mince with boiling water poured over it so they can lap the juice*
*colley fish.. again pour boiled warm water over it.. the smell usually entices them to lap*
*Ox cheek minced with warm boiled water over it*
I find the warm boiled water maximises the smell and makes it warm for tum tums.. hopefully one of these will work. I find with hard to wean kittens the smellier the better to wean with lol.. after trail and erro though I found I just poured boiled warm water over everything I served and they were more apt to eat it
