Re: Mother Cat Help

I'm afraid if you took all the babies away at once you have only yourself to blame. She will be full of milk and very uncomfortable, and she has no kittens to feed and is wondering where they are. Breeders try to space out the days when the kittens leave, and ours aren't allowed to leave until 13 weeks anyway by which time the milk is drying up.

I don't think there's a lot you can do now except leave her to lose her milk and hope she doesn't end up with mastitis.
