Re: Persian care

I've got two persians, a blue point and a seal point The only problems I've ever had with them is when they were eating meat - disaster Mine both seem to have sensitive tums. They have now been on Royal Canin Persian for the last 4 years and (touch wood) they haven't had a problem. I do need to be strict though and the only treats I give them are chicken or a tiny bit of fish. No cat food tins in my house As mine are pets only I do trim them a bit around their bottom area, not really enough to notice when they are walking around but enough to give that area some space Now if a bit of poo does get stuck it usually falls off within the vicinity of the cat tray

Persians have wonderful temperaments. Mine are both laid back, friendly, snuggly little couch potatoes who never ever do anything naughty. Compared to my two tabby moggies who are hooligans/murderers/carpet scratchers etc, they are like different species of animals let alone just different breeds of cat!

If you have your heart set on one then go for it. Super cats, super attitude and absolutely stunning to boot. Especially the colourpoints with their gorgeous blue eyes. What more could anybody want
