I used to be pulled all over the place when I first got Alfie, only thing that worked for us was, if he pulled I would about turn and go the way we had come. I felt that I was going in circles sometimes (which I was of course).
Maybe she has worked out what is going on, when Alf got a little better, I would make him do a circle around me with myself standing still. Like an obedience finish, I would not move until he was in the right position.
