I agree with the comments about wet, a completely wet diet is far better than dry. If you add fresh cooked or raw to that even better. If you want a good way of helping keep teeth clean then try your cat on a raw chicken drumstick or wing. Chewing through all the sinue and bone will help keep his teeth and gums healthy.
If you want a reliable source of good quality wet foods, with a range far better than your local supermarket or pet store then Zooplus.co.uk is excellent.
