My two gorgeous boys are adorable but they seem hell bent on destroying my curtains

they have lots of toys but they've decided to fight my curtains

I don't know how best to stop them doing this.

I try clapping loudly and saying no - that doesn't work
I then tried to do that and lift them away and put them on floor - no difference

right now they're out of the room with the door shut as I'm so fed up, I'm full of cold and feel lousy and just don't know what to do for the best

I don't want them to hate me, I adore them but they're going to pull the curtains down soon

any help/advise/words of wisdom?
