Well my poor little baby boy is now in hospital , but I should be able to pick him up in the morning Thank God

I've been talking to his breeder and my Mum (a very experianced dog breeder) and we all tend think that the Vet has totally over-reacted to what sounds like a very simple tummy bug.

They have taken him in to do a number of blood tests including Feline Aids and Lukemia (sp!) which the Vet actually told me he was 99.9% would come back clear (which it did) I'm at a total loss where he thinks he could have picked them up from! .

Also they have put him on a drip and he's not even de-hydrated and they reeled off a load of other tests, they want to do.

I know he has lost a little weight (30g) and he has been sick a few times (4 times over 5 days), and hasn't really been interested in wet food, he has however still been eating his RC BabyCat and drinking plenty of water. He has no bottom problems and has continued to run around like a lunatic, play and being loving. His eyes are clear and his nose is still wet and cold.

I've now lost all faith in my Vet now and as soon as this over I'm going to move all my cats to another vet, so any recommendations for a reliable and trust worthy vet in Stockport would be greatly accepted.

I'm totally exhausted and worried sick. Also I was supposed to be taking my Mum to the Supreme tomorrow as a Birthday Treat but I now won't be able too attend.

As well as feeling exhausted, worried i'm not really angry as I feel my Vet has played me for an idiot!
