Hi & Welcome to you.
What did the vet say was wrong to give him 4 injections, tablets and special food ? Seems very extreme to me. If you've only had him 5 days, he's probably just finding his feet still. Sometimes they go off their food a bit.
If you are worried I would take him back to your vets in the morning, unless you think it can't wait, then yes take him to the emergency one.
