How much would you feed an adult cat (4kg) per day with this? How much carrot do you add? Also what kind of supplements do you recommend for adding once things settle.
Many thanks
You generally feed 2% of body weight per day when feeding raw. For a 4kg cat this equates to 80g per day. I don't know about carrot as I don't know anyone who suppliments with it. Taurine is in all the meat you feed and stuff like poultry dark meat and heart is especially high in taurine so I don't see any need to supplement that. Calcium comes from the bones. If your cats won't eat bone then you can supplement with a pinch of ground eggshell powder. Fish body oil is good for omega-3s if you're not feeding grass fed/wild
meat.
