if it's that caked it could cause an infection so i'd say cut or clip it right back for now hun - that way it means that that area can breathe for a bit if there's any problems x
if it wasn't too bad i'd have said try the bath but seeing as it is you'e better off getting rid of the hair also just in case for now xx
as said it'll grow back okay so don't worry
