I would be very interested in how you manage to resolve this issue.
Unfortunately some cat breeders give other cat breeders a bad name.
I understand that the money paid by you could have already been swallowed up in the daily running costs but I find it incredulous that they are not prepared to make time to sort this problem out with you.
If they have so many cats/kittens at the moment how hard would it be to offer a replacement, either now or when a suitable one becomes available?
I have been effected by 2 breeders now (well respected & swooned upon by many in the bengal world.)
I have a great belief - it is not that you may breed a cat that develops problems, it is how you deal with any problems that arise that sets you apart from others.
I just wish that sometimes instead of counting the expense it has cost them (the breeders) to replace a kitten they would realise that what they gain in the long run by doing the right thing will repay them tenfold.
Face it are you likely to recommend a breeder who has given you a raw deal or someone who has put things right?
