Just to give you a rough idea - two of my older fur children have had a dental this year. Both had to have one tooth extracted and the cost was £180 and £200 which included the painkilling injection and antibiotics (which you probably wouldn't need with just a clean!).
Mine aren't insured but the vet nurse did say that if they were, insurance will sometimes pay out depending on how the claim is worded - but again that probably wouldn't be the case with just a clean and polish.
I'm now trying to feed raw chicken drumsticks. Four of my eight enjoy them but the other four (three who are 'mature') are not remotely interested
