Well we have and do sometimes separate mum from babies once they're weaned as sometimes mum comes into call and the acidity in her makes them vomit,also sometimes at this point mum needs a break as because of their age and size etc mum is drained and welcomes the break,though sometimes they stay together until babies have left home,also sometimes mum is too attentive and cautious and can hold babies back imoI do think as always it depends on the situation at the timeThey do not lose out on a mums comfort(which is usually what they get from her at the time of seperation)as they get it from their aunty's and each other and of course us
