I don't separate unless it's needed, one of my girls milk can goes off when she goes into heat and some kittens even when weaned still try and feed off mum so i have to be careful as it poisons kittens bloody nightmare x
nice thing is i knew from the start this could happen with her as it had happened with her mother before x

so no, not unless necessary do i bother xx
