I already have 16 cats and I really never want to have more than 20 (have never yet had that many, it's always been my upper limit). I do not want any of mine, apart from studs, living permanently in outdoor accommodation. Strangely enough my cats ARE my pets and are definitely treated as such - most nights I have about 6 sleeping on or in my bed
I have 5 neuters at present, 1 boy and 4 girls - and soon will have another neuter girl as my LaPerm is going to be spayed (she has never got pregnant and in any case I doubt I'd be able to sell her kittens)
I don't have more than 4 litters per year and so far have managed to sell kittens even though it sometimes takes a little longer than I'd ideally like
I very much agree with you hunny, that's the word i was looking for earlier, irresponsible xx incidentely, how many girls do you have??

back to the topic though..

i only plan to have 8-9 girls and 2 boys for breeding but i already have 4 neuters (who are now separate from the breeding girls as it's less stress on my boys) i do not want to have to keep any girls in pens, although sometimes it is necessary to do so i am sure - also in summer they go out in the runs so they can lie in the sun etc though xx
it's bad enough my boys are in stud accomodation so when we move i plan to try and find a place with a separate annex to which i shall make a large run off of there and they can have a little house instead x

that is how much i pamper my cats lol xx their happiness always comes first and if i know they are not happy here then i will not subject them to being here just because i feel guilty x it works both ways, it doesn't necessarily have to be for breeders benefit xx
