This is our first puppy although my husband has previous experience some years ago. Our 12 week whippet has mad moments tearing around the room which I stop after a couple of minutes as he gets frenzied. He also demands attention sometimes, barking at us and trying rough play. We say 'No' firmly and turn our backs and stay still then occupy him with something calm like a puppy chew. Is this behaviour just normal puppy stuff and are we dealing with it ok?
