I don't prance either.
If my dogs didn't want to show then they wouldn't do it, their show results speak for themselves. My dogs live as part of the family and are pets first then show dogs. My dogs enjoy going to shows just as much as I do, and I think I can speak for others on this.
The breed standard is there for a reason so we can keep breeds as close to what they should be.
The majority of the pups that I have bred have gone to pet homes but at least they know that the parents are close to the breed standard and ahve had relevant health tests done.
