There really is no such thing. Such people are simply exploiting the breed and gullible buyers, when there are far too many GSD's in rescue as it is.
A pedigree litter should be bred to the highest standards or not at all.
All the pups are first and foremost pets. Even if you showed every week of the year that would still leave you over 300 days of being just a pet.
Being a Pet is the hardest thing a dog can do, and therefore the highest standards should be expected.
There is no excuse for producing sub standard pups to be pets. People looking for a Pedigree pet should expect typical characteristics for the breed. If they don't they can go to a rescue centre to take pot luck.
