Having a cat means having to deal with claw marks on the furniture. You can give them scratching posts but we all know that some cats like to claw things they shouldn't. It would be like getting a Persian cat and expecting not to have to deal with shedding hair and furballs. It's just part of the package deal. If you don't want the risk of clawing, get a goldfish! lol
