Re: hand feeding kittens

I bet she's inhaled the milk - I'm afraid there isn't a lot of hope for this little one. If you get any more where the milk gets up their nose (you can usually tell straight away if you look), you must swing the kitten, just as you would with a newborn that had inhaled the amniotic fluid. Hold it across the palm of your hand, index finger supports its neck, and then you just sort of bowl it overarm (but without letting go!!) three or four times. It only seems to happen when they are below about three weeks.
