My older boys used to be messy like this but grew out of it and learned not to stand in their poo after they'd done it!

I guess an MC can get quite mucky. Is he outside now? Maybe have him neutered if you think it won't clear and if you think he will be too mucky you'll have to have him live with someone who don't work and keep on top of the mess and have a house where he can get special attention and where they will continue working on his diet etc...

Though guess you will need to weigh up the pros and cons. Do you have one of his sisters to then? How is she?
He is terrible - literally empties half of his litter tray all over the floor of his litter house. He only tends to get mucky around the really long fur by his bum and doesn't tread in it as much as he did. But he is massive so I guess it is hard for him! He is normally in an outside pen but at the moment he is living in my ensuite at night because of the fireworks so he is making plenty of mess in there!!!

He and his sister are 8 months old and really gorgeous cats so to not breed with them would be a real shame. She has had the diarrhoea in the past but is fine now although the fireworks last night gave her the runs a bit!
