If your cats coat seems greasy you could try powder her down with baby talc leave it in her coat for about 15 mins then brush it out again that will help to dry out some of the oils, i do my cats with it about once a month or so if they start to look a bit greasy  and well done for taking the cat in im sure you will be rewarded with lots of love and purrs from her
