Okay I know one is suppose to brush a cat's teeth but how do you get your cat to stay still and allow you to do it? I have tried the tiny brush, the finger brush and my cats HATE it and won't let me do a thorough job.

I feed them a mix of raw (with bones) and wet canned.
I don't want them to have to go under and have their teeth cleaned later in life or lose teeth but is it really necessary to clean their teeth?
