we looked at bulldogs when we got our DDB, they are lovely dogs but what put me off was the cost of them and the health problems however i think if you go to a good breeder they will have done all the health checks etc so should give you more peace of mind.

We went for a DDB instead as they are low energy and dont need too much exercise so despite being bigger might be another option for you to consider.... i love them they are fab dogs!!
