no she doesn't cry while she goes to the toilet. the vet gave me painkillers for her but I didn't end up using them as I heard that they can ruin the kidneys and she wasn't actually in pain anyway. She just sits in her litter tray for longer than usual and only a little tiny patch of pink wee comes out
