I have been using Pet Plus for a few years now and my cats are thriving. I understand people's concern about garlic and the association of heinz body anemia. I did a little research of my own about the subject a couple of years ago and was interested to hear one vet say that she thought the whole garlic issue is blown terribly out of proportion due to guilt by association with onions which contain a much higher concentration of disulfides. The garlic rule applies to RAW garlic and not cooked. It is the disulfides in garlic and onions which pose a problem and although Onion has a VERY high concentration of disulfides a cat would have to eat an entire bulb of garlic several times a week to get the same disulfide levels found in onion. There may be conflicting information out there, and it's ultimately up to everyone to take responsibility for what they feed their own cats, but I am satisfied that the amount of garlic in Pet Plus is safe and, as I've said, my two cats are rude with health.
