Hmm, I literally rules out terriers at the start due to exercise needs. I loive them, they are wonderful little dogs and I adore their personal;ities, my friend has one but they need a good amount of exercise.

Here, this is what I generally need in a dog:

Low maintenance generally, I dont mind grooming but dont want a dog that needs hours each day
Low exercise needs - I donit have time to go on long walks, I have a back garden and lots of parks near me fortunatly but I would still like a dog that could get most of its exercise through play and running about the house and garden
Small
Friendly

I read that cavaliers dont need much exercise and can adapt to your energy level
I also did a bunch of quizzes for fun to see what they said and they all came out with a bichon frise for me
I also like pugs but I would only gert one if it was cross
