Re: non stop barking
Hi, I'm going to get shot for this I suppose but here goes- When we got our puppy I had exactly the same, he was fine when we were at home, fine when we left the house for a couple of hours but if he knew we were upstairs in bed he would yelp and cry for hours.
Tried everything, radio, telly, my dressing gown, teddies etc etc. One night, after about 6 weeks of no sleep and various complaints from the neighbours I decided to sleep downstairs armed with a small water bottle. Everytime he yelped or whined I leapt up squirted him and said quiet. Did this three times and he just curled up and went to sleep! Have never had a bad night since.
Good luck.
