Jills can be speyed and hobs neutered, but not all vets are keen to deal with ferrets.
Some are but check with your vet first.

With colds etc, most ferret owners do take extra precautions if they have a cold. ferrets do get the same symptoms as us! but would urge a quick trip to vets if their symptoms are severe or last more than a couple of days.
