This evening a neighbour was setting off fireworks. Both cats were in their outdoor pen.

As the fireworks were exploding both cats came charging in, one went behind the settee the other managed to compose himself and kept popping out into the pen.

What should I do with the other, encouraging him did nothing. I don't want to force him out if he feels secure.

I've never had pets that have been frightened of fireworks, any ideas.
