Our new pup is just 8 weeks and we feed her RC mini junior this is for small breeds so you may need a different one for your Boxer. she is having 3 meals a day 2 of soaked RC with raw minced lamb and 1 of soaked RC without the lamb and water at all times. as she gets older I will gradually leave of the lamb till she is on RC only. Also I will start to feed 1 meal at a time dry.
I know others may not agree but if you are feeding a good quality dry food you dont need any canned, in fact I think it could upset tummies using both.
