I feed all my animals well cats and dogs on james wellbeloved i have tried most dog food and this is well worth the money they are on turkey and rice large kibble for the high oil as my lab is getting old and my collie is very active my lab has come off his metacam and my collie is not holding to much weight and his energy levels are good they look fantastic but if i was going to feed them anything else it would be royal cannin but they both need different bags would feed my lab mature and some thing else for the collie.
they also have the odd thing added like tripe.

I have found that you get out what you put in and a 15kg bag would last you months with having two little dogs as i get through 1 a month on two large dogs.

My friend feeds super dog and for its money seems very good the local pet shop sell alot of it there is also alpha feeds but as its a local company i don't know how big they have got but they do good min price range feeds.

Its hard the only thing i would stay away from in ped. chum only as i have had bad results with it and know of alot of good breeders that also will not feed it.

The only thing to do is read the lables and see whats in side and then give it a try. I'm happy on jwb and cannot see me changing for any reason any time soon.
