it isn't that important when the first vacc. is done, as long as the 2nd is done at 12 weeks or later. If it's done earlier, then the panleukopenia vaccine may not be totally effective due to persistent maternal immunity. In fact the recommendation now is for a 3rd vaccine at 16 plus weeks for multi cat breeding households, rescue catteries etc. I don't actually know anyone who does this though!
