I clicker trained our Lhasa from the moment we got him, I had heard all about their stubborness and wanted to start as we meant to go on! leo was 16 weeks when we got him.

I dont know about using it alongside any other method, but with training I feel that consistency is the key really and maybe 2 different methods of training may confuse your pup?

I found it especially useful in recall.
