Hi, I have a Briard long haired dog so I have to be careful about rubbing her hair away, so we use a nylon webbed choke collar which has a small chain to join it together. I never use it as a choker as I don't believe in them, but it is loose enough that it does not come off at home, and tight enough that it does not come off when we take her a walk, but if she pulls a little it will not hurt her.
