I dont think there should be a total ban! Because as you well know if we arent allowed anything what do we do? Find all ways possible of getting what we want!
I think they should not be on sale for the public, but just for organised events, and these should have a special licence reissued every year at a set fee!
It is terrifying for most animals, but i had an english setter, and he used to love going out for walks on bonfire night, neva botherd him at all, but then there werent anything between his ears either pmsl.  sorry charlie dog hehe (rip).
