I have never tried the shaker but might be worth a go - i tend to make a loud clap to get OScar's attention if i need to... as for the not going training thats rubbish - OScar is entire and has been going for nearly a year without problems .... even getting him done wont completely 'solve' it unless he is trained so i would say go to a class there are a mix of entire and not entire in ours ... and there are bitches in the class but obviously they just dont come when they are in season
