Blinking heck, Liz - sorry to be reading this but ... that would make me SO ANGRY mad: with that vet for not doing anything until the FOLLOWING DAY

Breeding is so full of highs and lows - nature can be ever so cruel.

So far, I have been very lucky and never lost a queen giving birth to her children. I have lost litters but never a queen. Poppy was the one who never succeeded in having a litter and Zoe's last litter was lost due to delay in giving a ceasarian - that made me mad at the vet, but thankfully, I did not lose my girl.

It seems to be a rarity but a risk worth watching out for.

Spaying operations, on the other hand are very routine for vets and they do them every time they see a female kitten who will not be bred from. The risk is very low indeed Fluffy.

Will still be sending best purrs to you and your girl.
