today I have been brave

I left the door open and let maya out onto the lane (which is not fenced up) to see if she runs away
i want my dogs to be off lead sometimes and thought this was something to try and see if they stay near me and come back when I call them.
Everything went fine ... I even walked down the lane a little off lead with her (and later with cobi) and she walked by my heel
I have to admit my heart was pounding as I wouldnt know what to do if she just took off but I'm glad I gave it a go and now I feel more confident letting them off lead on the lane.... Yupee
