I agree with you. I asked my vet about this as i have a 4month and an 11 month and was worried about the wee boy when i change CJ to adult food next month.

My vet said exactly what kozykatz said and said kitten food is a relatively recent thing and we managed very well before all the lifestage diets came on the scene.

Good quality food is the most important thing i think anyway
