does it have a base? a proper crate has a base so if you can line in with newspaper so if there is ever and accident its easily cleaned up......Maya has never messed her crate in the house but she is not great in the car gets sick and worse.....with the crate its easily cleaned up u just wipe it out with disinfectant and its ready to go again. shes rarely uses the crate indoors now but its invauable in the car still!
