Re: Home cooked dog food

Hi nevey fed mine hearts & cooked meals ever since they were 8 weeks just liquidised it when they were really small, then chopped finely as they got older, now I just ask the butcher to chop me 2 £5 bags of hearts per week & I just stick one in the freezer all I have to do is tip them in the pan & cook them lol a £5 bag does all 3 of mine a big meal, & they love the gravy too I save some of that till the following day to mix in with their tinned food.

I add some garlic which is good for the heart & curculation Ive never had problems with worms in any of my dogs through using it either also add chopped carrot complete with the skin & they love it.
