emmalouise is on a distinguished road
Re: Deaf English Bull Terrier

When she is well she gives eye contact and is very personable, as i said she does hand signals and is good to us and other dogs but now when she is not on steriods she goes demented. Maybe its a symtom, a come down sort of thing although we weaned her off them.

I have never owned a bully before, I only know about breed qualities from reading but that said I am very much about the personality of a dog and not the breed. For example i have owned several staffies that have been considered unsuitable to live with other dogs and to be too aggressive for rehoming. I chose to ignore this and they were rehabilitated. Im lucky to have vets in the family which is where these doggies have come from and Sheep arrived that way too.
Sheep's disturbed-ness (new word?) recently has led us think of syringomyelia. Making this thread very topical i know but she did come from a pedigree background.
