Re: Changing a kitten onto Adult food

Well, what did we do before kitten food existed?? (and it's only been around for 15-20 years or so) Kitten foods really are just a gimmick to get us to spend more money! Adult foods are OK for kittens - so long as the kitten gets 4-5 meals per day of good quality food, she should be fine.

I have seen this come up on here before, I seem to remeber some breeders on here saying that this was not a problem, so I didn't worry about it.

I think it is advised to start the change over from about 6 months if you are trying to do things by the book. Just out of interest, what brand of food do you feed?
