okay so ive been researching for the last wee while and dug out the stuff the vet gave me (busy moving house it took me ages to find it in all the boxes lol)

her current weight is 7.92kg her initial target weight 6.09kgs and he reccomends i should be feeding her 244 cals a day to acheive this.

I have also conceded the best way to lower her calorie intake is to get her on wet food, so once we get moved into the new house i will let her settle then try switching her food over.

any tips on what would be best to move her onto and how much 244 cals is in wet food a day would be muchly appreciated.

I might start a picture diary of her weight loss to keep us both motivated lol
